Daddy Longlegs furiously pedals his trike
organ grinder's monkey on a nature hike.
Past empty mountains and barren rock slides
down cinnamon alleys, up terrcaota boulders
he struggles and grunts, strains his puny shoulders.
He traverses Death Valley, but he knows not why
He strokes his guitarra in the cold starry nights,
Fellow travelers shield their children's eyes,
Daddy's pencil legs elicit anguished cries...
He lights up a f@g, grins with an evil air,
another frightened toddler, another nightmare
born of Dali's vision of elephants on stilt legs,
memory disintegrates, damn these empty beer kegs...!!!
