Do Guitar Hero 4 Drums, Mic, and Guitars work with Rock Band for the Wii?

I'm getting Guitar Hero: World Tour for Wii this xmas, but I cant help thinking I'm missing out on Rock Band. I hear rumors the instruments for Rock Band work on Guitar Hero, but Guitar Hero has 5 "buttons" for drums, so it wouldnt work. But does it work the other way. I hear more rumors it does for xbox, but I have Guitar Hero for Wii (I love my Wii) the rumors say you dont use one of the cymbals. Which is fine with me. It all counts to train to be become a world class drummer =P

Heres some disappointing news for all you Wii guitar hero world tour and rock band fans out there. Activision has announced that the Rock Band instruments will not be compatible with the Guitar Hero World Tour instruments or vise versa due to manufacturing differences. Following Nintendo's guidelines, Activision ensured all of their peripherals utilized the Wiimote, while Harmonix just released standalone peripherals.

Activision has announced that the full band kit for Guitar Hero world tour has been selling very well and the publisher does not expect it'll be able to satisfy the Christmas demand.
